I am so excited to begin my first ever album club.  Our first month to meet will be this month.  The pages we will put together are shown below.  It's not too late to join!

Last year, I hosted several day long crops and they were a lot of fun.  However, it's funny but most scrapbookers know exactly what I'm talking about when I say that one entire long day is not enough.  By the time you pack up all your super fun scrapbooking goodies and tools, and then unpack and get going, it always felt like the day was never long enough. 

So.....I've decided to try my luck at hosting (along with a few co-hosts) a weekend long crop.  The entire weekend (including meals) will cost $135 ($125 if you reserve and pay for your spot before August 10).  It will be at the Howell Nature Center, so the surroundings are sure to inspire and relax you.  If any of you followers are interested in attending a week long crop where you will be guaranteed to have soooo much FUN, feel free to contact me. 

How's the Album Club Planning Coming?

After sending a survey out to those on my contact list, I learned that more people are interested in an album club rather than a card club.  So, that means, I am inspired to create an album club.  My flyer will go out soon.  Basically, it will say that as a member of the album you will get to create 2 two page layouts every other month.  The starting week will be August 10 and I will host a day that week in my scrapbook center for you to come and assemble/create your pages.  Anyone interested in becoming a member of an album club?

What Am I Working On in my Business?

I am working on about 10 projects in my head.  First, I am working on a layout that scrapbooks my first ever trip to DC and to my first Close to my Heart Convention.  Second, I have about a year's worth of pics I want to scrap of my two children.  Third, I want to play around with some great new products I got to preorder at convention.  Fourth, I want to play around with Studio J (Close to my Heart's Online Studio Scrapbooking program).  Fifth, I want to explore the world of paper flowers and other paper crafting techniques.  I could really go on and on with what I am working on.  Usually, my brain has way more thinking time than doing but that actually works out for the best for me because then when I get to the doing part, I am ready to go because I've planned it out already thoroughly in my mind.   


What's Coming Up on my Schedule? 

I have plans for creating an album club.  This thought or idea occurred to me sometime during convention last week and I realized that that particular club would really fit in with my goals as a business entrepreneur and a scrapbooker.  I continually am trying to add pages to my two scrapbooks of my kids and feel like this would push me to keep this up, as well as, help, inspire, and encourage others who have a similar goal.  My plans are to get this club up and running in August.
